Model No. FOOD.00104.10 - The Universal Extrusion & Compression Cell with its various base plates can perform a variety of tests which include chewing simulation, viscosity, extrusion, compression, back extrusion and customer specific tests with custom plates (sold separately). The Universal Texture Fixture comes with one solid plate for compression and back extrusion testing, one extrusion plate with 11 evenly spaced extrusion slots, three viscosity/extrusion orifice plates (1/64"ø to 1/16"ø holes), one O-ring sealed piston and one reduced diameter piston for back extrusion testing.
